Dividend of raising your child to fear the LORD
When you teach your child to fear the Lord, both you and your child stand to gain a lot.
For instance,
A parent who has a child that fears the Lord will live peacefully now and in her old age.
She will be the envy of her peers.
She will receive the blessings of the Lord, and her child will bless and honour her.
For the child who fears the Lord;
He/she will grow in wisdom. Prov. 1:7
He/she will be motivated to flee from evil. The fear of the Lord restricts a child from doing evil. Prov. 3:7
It will prolong his/her life. A child who fears the Lord will live long. Prov. 10:27
It gives him /her sense of security. A child who fears the Lord will not be threatened by anything. Prov.14: 26.
It will bring him/her satisfaction and safety. Prov.19:23
It will bring him/her great blessings. Prov. 22:4
